Responsibilities
Canvass residential neighborhoods in the SoCal Gas and Southern California Edison service territory to engage homeowners.
Educate homeowners about the benefits of energy efficiency and the specific no-cost upgrade programs available through SCE and SoCalGas.
Explain available upgrades such as smart thermostats, ECM fan motors, HVAC tune-ups, and duct sealing, emphasizing that they are provided at no cost.
Address homeowner questions and concerns about the programs.
Generate leads by identifying eligible and interested homeowners.
Qualify potential customers by verifying their utility provider (SCE or SoCalGas) and program eligibility.
Schedule appointments for home energy assessments or direct installation of upgrades.
Meet and exceed targets for qualified leads and program enrollments.
Maintain professionalism and ethical conduct in all interactions.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
Proven sales experience, preferably in door-to-door or direct sales.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
Strong self-motivation and a results-driven attitude with a focus on meeting sales targets.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Positive and enthusiastic attitude with resilience to handle rejection.
Basic understanding of energy efficiency and home energy upgrades preferred.
Bilingual proficiency (Spanish) is a plus.
Valid California driver's license and reliable personal transportation required.
