Sales and Program Manager overseeing contracts and projects in the defense and terrestrial mobility sector. Leading cross-functional teams and ensuring contract compliance with customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Lead contract execution and ensure customer satisfaction while meeting committed obligations.
Ensure program delivery in accordance with quality, cost and schedule objectives.
Set up and coordinate multidisciplinary internal and external teams: engineering, production, procurement, legal, partners and subcontractors.
Chair project steering committees and provide regular reporting to management and customers.
Contribute to the development of technical and commercial proposals: requirements analysis, proposal writing, negotiation of contractual terms and management of bids through to contract signature.
Ensure the technical, financial and contractual consistency of each program.
Identify project risks and opportunities and propose appropriate action plans.
Contribute to the development of commercial strategy and to creating new opportunities in the defense and ground mobility market.
Participate, as required, in product testing on test benches and on vehicles in collaboration with technical teams.
Requirements
Degree from an engineering school, business school or equivalent, with a specialization in project management, international trade or engineering.
Proven experience (minimum 5 to 10 years) in the defense sector, ground mobility or a highly technical industrial environment.
Good knowledge of public procurement, tender processes and long sales cycles.
Strong expertise in managing complex projects: planning, budget tracking, matrix management and coordination of technical teams.
Solid commercial negotiation and contract management skills.
Rigour, sense of responsibility and excellent organizational skills.
Strong ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills, diplomacy and the ability to interact with senior stakeholders (institutional bodies, industry partners, international partners).
Analytical mindset, curiosity and results orientation.
Excellent written communication skills in French and English (daily working languages).
Knowledge of German would be an advantage.
