About the role
- Allround HR Advisor overseeing HR functions for production and office staff in a global company. Ensuring payroll accuracy and employee support while adhering to Dutch labor regulations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing in cooperation with ADP.
- Process employee lifecycle changes (onboarding, offboarding, contract changes, leave, sickness).
- Maintain and optimize personnel files and HR systems.
- Safeguard data accuracy and proactively resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and analyze HR reports (headcount, absenteeism, turnover, labor costs).
- Act as a sparring partner to managers on HR policies, employee relations, and employment law.
- Support performance and talent development processes.
- Coordinate and monitor absence cases in line with the Dutch Gatekeeper Act (Wet verbetering poortwachter).
- Serve as first point of contact for HR-related questions.
- Ensure adherence to Dutch labor law.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (HBO level), preferably in HRM or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in a broad HR role, ideally within an international organization.
- Proven experience in payroll administration.
- Experience with HCM/SAP and ADP is a strong plus.
- Solid knowledge of Dutch labor law.
- Experience with the Dutch Gatekeeper Act and absence management.
- Strong understanding of HR systems and processes.
- Comfortable preparing and analyzing HR reports.
- Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken).
