Responsibilities
- Provide effective Employee Relations advice to business stakeholders
- Be the first point of contact for general queries relating to policy and procedures
- Provide high quality advice and guidance
- Provide a professional ER case management service to support business managers in people management issues
- Manage absence management, investigations, disciplinaries, flexible working requests, grievances & performance capability
- Balance best practice with the need to support sound business decisions
- Build strong working relationships to persuade and reassure managers on specific courses of action
- Ensure all implications are considered
Requirements
- A graduate or Level 5 CIPD qualified or equivalent HR management qualification or experience is advantageous
- Ability to build effective relationships across all business levels
- A resilient individual who can manage emotional and distressing situations
- Previous experience of caseload management is advantageous
- A logical thinker with the ability to problem solve, work to changing time frames and reactive situations is essential
- You will need to have a high attention to detail.
- The role is fast-paced and you will need to be able to multi-task.
- Evidence of being proficient in MS Office applications (particularly Word and Excel) and the ability to interpret and analyse numerical/statistical data.
- You will be expected to travel across the AW region.
- Proven up to date experience of Employment Law knowledge would be an advantage.
