Responsibilities
Set the marketing strategy and priorities for Brazil, defining long-term growth objectives in collaboration with MUBI’s Senior Director of Marketing, LATAM
Develop new partnership ideas and marketing activities to raise MUBI’s profile and grow the subscriber base
Work closely with our in-house creative team to develop creative marketing campaigns
Manage relationships with key contacts at partner organisations and with the press
Monitor trends and dynamics in the local SVOD market, the film industry, and the evolving digital landscape
Maintain a constant focus on performance metrics with your team — analyse and evaluate all marketing activities to determine impact and optimise to continuously improve KPIs
Organise screenings and events in coordination with our global programming and distribution teams
Collaborate with the global programming team to support and promote content releases on the platform in Brazil
Manage a small team including a Marketing Manager and a Social Media Coordinator
Requirements
Passionate about film
Experience working for a global entertainment, lifestyle, or technology brand
Strong understanding of current streaming landscape dynamics in Brazil and globally
7–10 years of relevant marketing and management experience
Extensive experience developing consumer-facing brand marketing strategies and planning and executing campaigns, with specific knowledge of Brazilian audiences
Confident in managing and developing small teams
Entrepreneurial mindset, highly self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Creative thinker with original ideas and a willingness to look beyond easy answers to find the best solution
Impeccable attention to detail
Team player who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional counterparts
Confident and effective communicator with strong writing skills
Analytics-driven, able to define appropriate KPIs, measure and evaluate campaign effectiveness, and optimise accordingly
Able to manage a substantial budget and allocate resources efficiently and shrewdly
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field
Fluency in Portuguese and English; additional languages are a plus
