Lead the Commercial sales organisation for DACH, managing and developing a team of B2B SaaS Account Executives to achieve revenue targets.
Drive cross-functional initiatives, accurate forecasting, and exceptional customer relationships while fostering a high-performance sales culture.
Responsibilities
Provide strong leadership, vision, and direction for the Commercial sales team and broader DeepL sales organisation within DACH.
Lead ongoing growth and development, including hiring, onboarding, training, and coaching Account Executives.
Maintain a high level of knowledge of DeepL products and solutions while staying current in understanding the competitive landscape and industry trends specific to the Commercial in DACH.
Be accountable for the attainment of your Account Executive's performance targets.
Partner with Sales Development, Solution Consulting, Customer Success, our product teams, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to drive success and prioritise where DeepL invests its resources.
Help build, support, track, and analyse sales pipelines and activities to understand and capitalise on buying trends/patterns within the Commercial segment.
Report predictably and accurately to senior management on progress/obstacles, including regular sales forecasts.
Establish policies, processes, and procedures that will ensure Commercial revenue growth.
Roll up your sleeves and do what is necessary for the customer and your team.

Requirements
High level of Commercial Account Executive management experience.
Extensive sales experience, 3+ years, preferably within a SaaS organisation with deep knowledge of the DACH markets.
Currently and successfully leading a team of at least 6 B2B SaaS solution sales professionals.
Solid understanding of B2B SaaS applications and collaboration technology.
Consistent track record of achieving personal and team goals.
Excellent coaching, mentoring, executing, discovery, and presentation skills.
History of thriving in a rapidly changing environment.
Enthusiasm for increasing customer happiness and deepening customer relationships.
Results-oriented, self-directed with a passion to succeed.
Fluency in English and German is required, additional European languages are a plus.
