Responsibilities
- Lead the evolution of data-driven decision-making at Arc’teryx
- Build foundational dashboards, models, and automation solutions
- Shape the long‑term roadmap and data governance strategy
- Identify opportunities, surface insights, and collaborate to solve business problems
- Partner with leaders to align priorities and accelerate delivery
- Shift focus from reactive reporting to advanced analytics
- Streamline key P&C processes and elevate decision-making
- Mentor a team of Data Analysts and assess their challenges
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data, analytics, or automation
- At least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity
- Skilled at building strong relationships and acting as a strategic advisor
- Proven track record of building an analytics function from the ground up
- Strong storytelling ability to translate complex data into clear narratives
- HR domain expertise (e.g., Compensation, Talent Management, Workforce Planning)
- Comfortable operating autonomously, navigating ambiguity, and leading through change
- Proactive in identifying opportunities and prioritizing high-value work
- Degree or equivalent experience in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- Hands-on experience with SQL, Python/R, and data visualization tools such as Power BI
- Experience with cloud‑based data architecture (e.g., Azure, Databricks)
- Experience applying advanced analytics and automation tools (e.g., forecasting, predictive modeling)
