Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities
Build and maintain relationships with clients
Create and implement sales strategies

Conduct market research and analysis
Manage and grow existing client accounts
Provide excellent customer service and support
Upsell and cross sell products and services
Address and resolve any client concerns or issues
Maintain accurate records and reports of client interactions and sales activities
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge
Promote and educate clients on new products and services
Assist in the development of marketing materials and campaigns
Participate in trade shows and events to promote company and products
Provide feedback and insights for product development
Prepare and submit sales reports and forecasts
Manage and maintain CRM database
Coordinate and schedule sales meetings and presentations
Handle invoicing and payment processing
Monitor and track sales expenses and budgets
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2+ years’ sales or sales related experience (pumps).
Thorough knowledge of consultative/value-based selling.
Knowledge of mechanical and pumping designs; hydraulic, pneumatics, water flow, in related field of pumps, pumping systems, equipment rental preferred.
Previous experience in the use of Salesforce.com or other CRM’s is required.
Ability to present product education seminars to groups of 20-40 people is a must.
Effective interpersonal skills with customers, employees, and management team.
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
Strong teamwork and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
Ability to demonstrate effective negotiation and influencing skills along with knowledge of selling practices and techniques.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and the use of computer applications.
Ability to meet and continuously maintain authorization to operate a company vehicle.
