- AIT Engineer for Satellogic, specializing in electronic hardware setups and automated testing solutions for satellites. Collaborating in a diverse team and driving quality in AIT operations.
Responsibilities
- Work with a team that leads the assembly, configuration and test of custom made electronic hardware setups and equipment
- Design, develop and implement hardware and software solutions for automated test, validation and qualification
- Provide support for the manufacturing team.
- Design improvements of manufacturing procedures, DFMA.
- Provide design feedback according to testing results
- Oversee equipment calibration, equipment repair and equipment sourcing efforts
- Create and maintain accurate and efficient procedures
- Plan and organise the uses of satellite setups
- Collaborate with the development of hardware and software tools to increase quality and efficiency within AIT operations
Requirements
- Engineering degree in software/electronics
- 2+ years of experience working with electronics in a manufacturing environment.
- 2+ years working with highly integrated systems and interdisciplinary teams (e.g. electronics, software, optics, mechanics, etc.)
- Experience in electronics, systems engineering or related fields.
- Experience with real-time constraints and hardware interfaces (e.g. SPI, UART, I2C, USB, ETH and MQTT, Ethernet)
- Familiarity with Linux OS
- Knowledge of Python language
- Troubleshooting of standalone hardware and related services
- Language: Intermediate English written and oral
- Availability to travel approximately 20-30% of the time.
