IT Specialist responsible for supporting QCP’s IT infrastructure and operations. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address cyber security and business continuity risks.
Responsibilities
Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support to QCP users for the remediation of IT issues across three shifts.
Support user helpdesk requests, such as for account / access related issues, VPN and network connectivity, collaboration and productivity tools support, endpoint troubleshooting, etc.
Ensure proper recording, documentation and handover of issues to the next shift.
Monitor and report on IT service level trends and production incidents.
Support QCP IT change management process: ensure that changes are assessed, tested and approved before implementation.
Manage after office hour emergency change.
Support IT Security training and awareness sessions.
Support regular risk reporting, such as Key Risk Indicator (KRI) reporting and audit point tracking.
Maintain IT outsourcing register and contracts. Support periodic Third-Party risk assessments and due diligence checks on vendors.
Implement windows patching and security patches for servers.
Implement and configure new software, system, and applications the meet business needs.
Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology related fields.
2 to 3 years of working experience in IT Service Management, Helpdesk, Server and/or Network.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent strategic, problem solving, and analytical skills, with strong attention to details.
Exposure to DevOps, and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure would be valuable.
Experience supporting core IT infrastructure such as servers and network would be a plus.
Team player with the ability to work independently when required.
Industry certifications and knowledge of relevant frameworks (e.g. ITIL, COBIT, TOGAF, CBCP, CISM) would be a bonus.
Open to working on a shift basis.
**Preferrable Experience**
Proficient in scripting (Python, PowerShell), with experience for automation tasks.
