Responsibilities
Manages licensing activities in the domestic theatrical marketplace
Solicits playdates and confirms placement of current releases
Administers weekly holdovers and related tasks using our booking system
Negotiates film rental in various markets
Oversees booking for publicity pre-opening screenings, group sales initiatives, etc.
Analyzes the marketplace by evaluating competitive grosses
Develops and manages relationships with film buyers, theater owners, and support staff
Reports results of trade screenings to senior management
Oversees billing functions of weekly film engagements
Keeps senior management informed of all exhibition activities
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
3+ years related work experience in either exhibition or distribution
High level negotiation experience
Travel will be required for conventions and key out-of-town meetings
Advanced proficiency in Excel
