Counter/Customer Sales Associate focused on order entry and customer interactions at Heritage Landscape Supply. Engaging with customers over various channels while performing related warehouse duties.
Responsibilities
Entering orders at the point of sale using the company computer system
Interacting with customers over the phone, via email, and in-person
Greet customer with friendly attitude
Basic computer and phone skills
Communicate to customers the correct product for their application
Communicate to customers how material is priced and sold
Create Sales Orders
Create Quotes to estimate cost of projects, quantities of material needed from customer measurements
Ensure smooth deliveries by scheduling effectively and maintaining open communication with team members and clients
Being honest, courteous, respectful to customers & employees at all times
Maintain and assist to keep a clean work environment
Learn basic knowledge of products available to customers
Inform management of products/special order material customers need
Assist with Inventory Cycle Counts
Order picking/staging/Replenishment
Loading/unloading delivery vehicles
Assist with inventory cycle counts, shipping, receiving, and other related duties as assigned
Requirements
Basic computer knowledge and Internet use
Bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred, but not required
Able to pass pre-employment drug test/background screening
High School diploma or equivalent
Experience with Irrigation/Landscaping products a plus.
