- Manage and maintain the server infrastructure (Windows/Linux)
- Administer and deploy virtualization environments based on Hyper-V
- Monitor system performance and availability across the entire IT landscape
- Maintain monitoring systems (PRTG, SmokePing, CheckMK)
- Oversee regular system backups (VEEAM)
- Troubleshoot issues and support the team with diagnostics
- Document system changes in Atlassian Confluence and Jira
Requirements
- Degree in a STEM field or equivalent qualification
- Several years of experience in server and system administration preferred
- Strong knowledge of Windows environment administration
- Experience with Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization solutions is an advantage
- Knowledge of networking technologies and protocols
- Problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
- Good communication and team skills
- Fluent in German and English
