Responsibilities
Serve as the primary internal checkpoint for payroll data entered by other departments
Manage the end-to-end collection and approval process for employee hours
Record and track fringe benefits within US and international payroll systems
Partner with payroll providers to manage and resolve payroll tax notices
Perform pre- and post-payroll audits
Participate in annual financial and 401(k) audits
Serve as the primary subject matter expert for US multi-state payroll functions
Support international payroll processes for offices in Amsterdam, Melbourne, and Hamburg
Provide a responsive, customer-service approach to employee inquiries
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
2-3 years of payroll experience for 100+ employees
Strong understanding of US payroll concepts and processes
Proven track record of managing and reviewing high volumes of data
Strong skills in Excel and Google Sheets (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables)
