Responsibilities
Independently perform payroll processing and salary accounting for a defined group of employees
Ensure correct execution of all payroll accounting processes in compliance with legal requirements
Correspondence and communication with authorities, health insurance funds and social security agencies, including reporting and certification duties
Perform statutory registrations and de-registrations at the start and end of employment
Serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for managers and employees on payroll and compensation matters
Monitor and manage timekeeping
Prepare HR reports
Handle operational and administrative tasks such as maintaining, reviewing and managing employee master data and personnel files (physical/digital)
Participate in the development and optimization of HR processes and in special projects
Requirements
Completed commercial/vocational training, preferably with a focus on payroll accounting
Ideally further training as a personnel clerk (Personalkaufmann/-frau), IHK-qualified payroll specialist or equivalent
Several years of professional experience in payroll processing/salary accounting
Solid knowledge of social security law and payroll tax law is advantageous
Confident user of the payroll software P&I LOGA and MS Office
Structured, independent and careful working style
Discretion, reliability and a strong sense of responsibility
