About the role

  • Payroll Specialist managing end-to-end payroll and support for HR administration across multiple countries at Resideo, a tech leader in home solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Multi Country Payroll Management
  • Collect, validate, and submit monthly payroll inputs to country-specific payroll providers under a common platform.
  • Validate, reconcile, and process payroll inputs ensuring 100% accuracy and statutory compliance.
  • Perform detailed payroll checks across all countries and ensure timely approvals.
  • Prepare and process payroll funding files, bank payment instructions, and accounting journal entries.
  • Ensure accurate processing of statutory payments, filings, quarterly returns, and year-end submissions across regions.
  • Lead payroll year‑end and year‑start activities, including data validation, employee declarations, compliance reporting, and coordination with payroll vendors.
  • Maintain payroll calendars, process documentation, and ensure SLA adherence for all countries.
  • Identify data gaps and implement controls to enhance payroll accuracy and reporting efficiency.
  • Support HR business partners on employment contracts, amendments, confirmations, exit documents, and other HR letters for each country following local regulations.
  • Maintain employee data accurately in HRIS systems and ensure GDPR compliance.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR/payroll/benefits queries and escalate complex cases as needed.
  • Provide documentation for internal/external audits.
  • Support HR admin activities during work council meetings.
  • Coordinate country-specific requirements.
  • Deliver HR induction explaining employment documents, benefits, payroll processes, and local employment policies.
  • Manage country-specific employee benefits such as PF, PT, LWF, pension, health insurance, etc.
  • Coordinate enrollments, changes, terminations, and claims with insurers/vendors.
  • Oversee time tracking/absence systems according to local rules and maintain accurate accruals where applicable.
  • Deliver timely monthly T&A closure files for payroll integration.
  • Maintain employee records – New hires/ Terminations etc.,
  • Identify areas to enhance performance of payroll delivery
  • Promote a process improvement mindset to implement new ideas and streamline payroll employee experience
  • Exercise frequent independent discretion and judgment to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Lead/partner on Payroll initiatives which drive business results when required
  • Proactively support in processing high volume transactions
  • Partner with the appropriate resources to implement Payroll initiatives and ensure compliance with all laws and company direction
  • Ensure good partnership in delivering HRBP, HR ops & Total Rewards support

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Payroll preferably with multi-country exposure in APAC & Europe.
  • Practical knowledge of labor laws and statutory payroll requirements.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office (Excel + Word)
  • Strong communication skills in English.
