Senior Projects and Partnerships Support Officer managing grants for humanitarian NGO IMPACT in Ethiopia. Role involves stakeholder analysis, fundraisng, and project proposal development.
Responsibilities
Support the identification, development and management of grants within the mission.
Conduct stakeholder analysis and identify funding opportunities.
Lead collaboration with IMPACT’s sister organization Acted on project development and grants management.
Coordinate project proposal planning and prepare fundraising documents.
Review and negotiate proposals and/or contracts with donors.
Ensure timely completion of grant-related processes and follow up on project implementation.
Oversee the preparation of high-quality project narratives and monitoring & evaluation (M&E) reports.
Support the formalization of IMPACT’s hosting partner for the project.
Requirements
Minimum 3–4 years of relevant professional experience in a similar role.
Experience in humanitarian settings and prior management experience are highly desirable.
Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (International Relations, Political Science, Social Research, Economics, Development Studies, Project Development, Fundraising, or similar).
Proven experience in positioning and fundraising, grants management, and monitoring and evaluation.
Familiarity with the humanitarian coordination system and an understanding of donor and government requirements.
Excellent communication and drafting skills for effective reporting.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and PowerPoint.
Strong coordination, organization, and planning skills, with the ability to meet deadlines effectively.
Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work independently.
Ability to operate in a multicultural environment and adapt with flexibility.
Experience in Ethiopia or the region is an asset.
Fluency in English required.
