Responsibilities
Active acquisition of new customers as well as support and maintenance of existing customer relationships in the sales territory of Southern Germany, Austria, and Switzerland
Planning and conducting customer visits and business meetings to promote sales and maintain customer relationships
Identification of new market and sales opportunities within the sales territory
On-site presentation of products and services to customers
Preparation of quotations and conduct of contract negotiations
Collaboration with the marketing team to develop sales strategies
Participation in trade fairs and events to represent the company
Maintenance of the customer database and regular reporting on sales activities
Support for sales-related projects and occasional coverage for colleagues in the sales department
Requirements
Degree or vocational training in business administration, sales, or a related field
Professional experience in sales, ideally in public transport (ÖPNV) or rail
Strong ability to recognise and respond to customer needs and to work effectively in a team
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Structured working style and independent, target-oriented approach
Confident use of MS Office and CRM systems
Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
Willingness to travel regularly within Germany and possibly internationally for customer care and business development
