Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service by effectively interacting with clients through phone, email, and in-person consultations
Accurately process and manage customer transactions at the sales counter using the company’s computer system to ensure efficient and precise order fulfillment
Create detailed sales orders and quotes, utilizing customer measurements to estimate material needs and project costs with accuracy
Coordinate and schedule truck deliveries with precision, ensuring optimal logistics and customer satisfaction
Contribute to inventory management by participating in cycle counts, order picking, staging, replenishment, and shipping/receiving activities
Collaborate with management and team members to communicate customer needs and special order material requests
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, promoting operational efficiency and adherence to safety standards
Work collaboratively with warehouse and sales team members to ensure efficient operations and exceptional customer service
Requirements
Prior experience in a customer service or sales role is preferred
Proficiency in basic computer operations and internet navigation
Experience or familiarity with point-of-sale systems and order entry procedures
Capability to handle physical demands, including lifting up to 50 lbs
Ability to work in varied conditions, including warehouses and outdoor environments
Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed during the peak season
Capability to pass a pre-employment background/drug test
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred
Previous experience with irrigation or landscaping products is preferred
Forklift operation experience/Current forklift certification and other relevant qualifications that enhance operational efficiency and safety in warehouse and shipping environments
