Responsibilities
Work schedule management: Implementation and monitoring of work schedule indicators and the development and execution of action plans.
Integrated perspective and alternative design: Analyze the needs of different business units and propose shift models (6x1, 5x2, 6x2, etc.) considering legal, contractual, financial, business and people aspects, with a focus on productivity optimization and cost reduction, and oversee end-to-end implementation.
Lead and manage end-to-end initiatives and projects in Labor and Union Relations (within the People/HR structure), from planning to implementation, on topics related to employment and union relations, ensuring efficient execution, legal compliance and a people-centered approach.
Conduct technical studies aimed at generating ideas and identifying opportunities, proposing innovative alternatives from the perspective of employment and union relations, always connecting them to business reality, best practices and the state of the art.
Develop HR-oriented labor policies and draft all types of negotiation documents used by the company, whether collective or individual, in partnership with Legal; establish collective bargaining guidelines and other related topics.
Provide specialized technical support to the internal team in joint work with Legal, and participate in mediations before the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE).
Monitor labor and union behavior in the market and apply findings structurally to the area’s topics.
Essential knowledge of labor and union legislation, strategic and systemic vision, business acumen and everyday use of technology.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Economics, Production/Industrial Engineering or related fields.
Experience in Labor and Union Relations, with specific focus on management and design of work schedules.
Analytical capability: Experience transforming raw data into actionable insights.
Tools: Advanced Excel and preparation of executive-level presentations.
Business perspective: Ability to understand operational pain points and translate them into viable technical solutions.
Legal knowledge: Broad knowledge of labor and union legislation, especially regarding work schedules.
