Events Marketing Manager responsible for strategy, planning, and execution of national and regional trade shows. Collaborating with marketing, sales, and partners to ensure successful execution of events.
Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end strategy and execution for assigned national and large regional trade shows and partner-hosted events
Develop comprehensive trade show plans covering timelines, session strategy, speaker management, staffing models, and onsite run-of-show documentation
Lead cross-functional trade show planning with Marketing, Sales, Product, A/V, IT, Platform Design, and external agencies
Serve as onsite trade show lead, providing live support across registration, general sessions, breakouts, exhibitor areas, and virtual components
Manage trade show platforms and technology, including registration, mobile apps, session streaming, and virtual/hybrid tools
Oversee trade show vendor relationships and contracts
Manage trade show budgets and forecasts
Partner with demand generation and sales teams to drive trade show attendance and lead capture
Build and manage trade show registration sites and communications in Cvent
Evaluate trade show performance post-event
Requirements
2 or more years of experience in the event industry
1 or more years as an indirect supervisor or similar experience in trade show/event planning
1 or more years of experience with virtual solutions/platforms in meeting planning or similar technical experience
Associate degree in business discipline or additional work experience typically equivalent to education
Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Experience with Cvent, ExhibitDay, and/or other event management tools
