About the role

Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the activities of the team to achieve quality and performance objectives
- Serve as a point of contact for support to internal and external estimators
- Provide training and technical support to employees
- Review subrogation files from other insurers and make recommendations
- Perform quality checks on estimates produced by estimators
- Improve efficiency by contributing to the development of analyses and recommendations
- Organize, plan and control the optimal use of resources according to the budget
- Support teams when there are complaints related to estimates
- Participate in various committees in the field of estimating
Requirements
- College diploma or equivalent combination of professional experience
- Estimator certificate from the Groupement des Assureurs Agréés (an asset)
- 3 to 5 years of management experience (an asset)
- Knowledge of the estimating and claims settlement process (an asset)
- Strong analytical, synthesis and decision-making skills
- Project management and change management abilities
- Ability to foster engagement and mobilization within the team
- Ability to build relationships based on trust and collaboration
