Responsibilities
- End-to-end processing of the monthly Australian and UK payroll using Rippling
- Managing the payroll inbox, answering questions from employees and resolving issues.
- Maintaining employee records in Rippling, including pay and employment changes, new starters, terminations, and leave adjustments
- Ensuring compliance with relevant employment, tax, and superannuation legislation
- Preparing and reconciling payroll reports for Finance (including journals, PAYG, super, and STP)
- Assisting with the annual EOFY process, audits, and other payroll-related projects as we scale
- Partnering with People Operations and Finance to continuously improve our payroll and HRIS processes
Requirements
- Solid hands-on experience running Australian payroll in a small to mid-sized business
- Familiarity with Rippling or other modern HRIS/payroll systems
- Understanding of tax, superannuation, salary packaging and novated lease principles
- Comfortable managing sensitive information with confidentiality and care
- Able to work independently, set priorities, and meet deadlines without close supervision
- Great communicator, approachable, clear, and helpful with internal stakeholders
- Seeking part-time work, 2–3 days per week (FTE 0.4–0.6)
