Field Technician installing, commissioning, and maintaining inspection devices for customers in Germany and Europe. Focusing on trouble-shooting, client training, and communication with internal departments.
Responsibilities
On-site service: Install, commission and provide technical support for our inspection devices directly at customer sites
Maintenance & repair: Carry out inspections, repairs and modifications on existing devices and machines
Fault diagnosis: Analyse technical faults and resolve them quickly and independently
Customer training: Instruct customers on the operation and maintenance of our systems and support them in day-to-day use
Interface coordination: Coordinate service visits, spare parts and technical queries with internal departments and customers
International assignments: Represent our company at customer locations – primarily in Germany, occasionally elsewhere in Europe and rarely worldwide
Requirements
Qualification: You have completed training as an electronics technician or hold a comparable technical qualification with relevant professional experience
Working style: You work independently, in a structured manner and maintain high quality standards
Customer focus: You impress with a friendly manner, empathy and intercultural competence
Willingness to travel: You are flexible and open to changing assignments – nationally and occasionally internationally
Language skills: You have good English skills, particularly in technical contexts
Team player: You are reliable, a strong communicator and enjoy collaborating with customers and colleagues
