Responsibilities
- Participate in the preparation of multi-year forecasts of revenues, expenses and assets under management
- Collaborate with the business and other key stakeholders on analysis of data and development of forecast assumptions
- Analyze and prepare commentary around trends and drivers of actual and forecasted data
- Support the creation of presentations and other reporting used to communicate the financial results of the business to senior management
- Support development of dashboards to enhance financial reporting
- Perform ad-hoc analysis requested by business partners and senior management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or related field
- 5+ years of prior working experience in finance function preferably in a Forecasting or Financial Reporting role but not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrates curiosity and interest in learning about the business and its key drivers
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Requires a high ethical standard and an ability to work with confidential information
- Prior working experience in financial services industry, banking, insurance industry and/or asset management is preferred
- CFA or MBA a plus
