About the role
- Supply Chain Manager overseeing Inventory and Distribution analytics at BD, requiring strategic thinking and data-driven decision making. Focus on optimizing inventory and collaborating globally.
Responsibilities
- Lead Inventory, Analytics, and Distribution execution across the BD Advanced Access Devices (AAD) platform.
- Think strategically, leverage data for problem solving, and collaborate with global teams to deliver results.
- Optimize inventory planning and drive technology enablement within the supply chain.
- Manage shelf life and back order projections regularly.
- Create monthly E&O governance models with finance to mitigate expenses.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or related degree; or MBA/MS in relevant discipline preferred
- 9+ years of Supply Chain planning; demonstrated planning experience handling large portfolios and data sets
- Minimum 2 years of people leading experience, preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working in optimization tools and ERP systems (e.g. JDE, SAP)
- Advanced experience in planning systems required (Kinaxis, o9, Anaplan, etc.)
- Financial literary required; understanding of basic P&L terminology and financial systems
- ASCM/APICS (CPIM, CSCP) or IBF (CPF, ACPF) certification desired, required within the first 3 years.
