Responsibilities
Develops and leads a comprehensive state and local government affairs program
Provides information related to legislative, regulatory and government activities
Performs legislative advocacy activities including direct lobbying

Identifies emerging policy issues and evaluates impact
Calls upon state agency officials and staff to discuss current issues
Ensures compliance with campaign finance and lobbying/ethics laws
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, Public Affairs/Relations, Business Administration or similar area of study
7 years to ten or more years previous government affairs
Master's Degree or equivalent experience in Political Science, Public Affairs/Relations, Business Administration or similar area of study, preferred
