About the role

  • Provide administrative support and assist in fundraising operations for WaterAid's Partnerships Team. Ensure effective partnership working and data management in Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Responsibilities

  • Support the administrative functions of the Water Industry Partnerships Team
  • Support fundraising in Scotland and Northern Ireland
  • Work closely with Partnerships team in Scotland and Northern Ireland to support the delivery of partnership activities and fundraising operations
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for WaterAid partner events and engagement activities, including planning, coordination, and administration
  • Attend events as required to support delivery and partner engagement
  • Track and process partnership income, investigating and resolving any queries in liaison with relevant colleagues and teams
  • Update and maintain accurate partner records on WaterAid’s customer relationship management (CRM) system, in line with role requirements
  • Coordinate the administrative functions of the wider Water Industry Partnerships Team
  • Champion WaterAid’s commitment to equity, inclusion and safeguarding.

Requirements

  • Ability to work remotely/independently with minimum supervision but also be a collaborative and participative member of the team
  • Excellent organisation skills to ensure that deadlines are met, including managing other people’s input e.g. volunteers
  • Proven ability to manage a busy workload and deliver across multiple projects/teams
  • Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, presentation, and face-to-face.
  • Although not essential, we’d prefer you to have:
  • Experience and knowledge of sustainability / corporate responsibility
  • Experience of the voluntary sector
  • Experience of the water industry and/or other utilities.
