Responsibilities
Supports UW–Green Bay’s mission to expand access to high-quality, lifelong learning across Northeast Wisconsin.
Helps advance the University’s strategic priorities by ensuring professional development programs, trainings, and events are delivered smoothly, efficiently, and with a strong focus on service.
Provides essential administrative, financial, and operational support, including managing registrations, processing financial transactions, coordinating instructors, supporting program logistics, and delivering excellent customer service.
Develops, sends, receives, copies, and distributes communications to the appropriate entities according to established policies and procedures.
Develops, implements, and maintains methods and organizational systems directed at the maintenance of electronic/physical records related to work operations according to established policies and procedures.
Schedules logistics and secures resources for meetings, conferences, travel, and work unit operations.
Serves as a primary point of contact for individuals and groups, provides organizational information via phone, in person, and through other communication mediums.
Prepares and audits complex records, edits documents, and reviews work done by others.
Requirements
Associate's degree
1 year of professional experience
Strong written communication and administrative skills with a high level of detail
Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
High level of computer proficiency and ability to use database, spreadsheet, web conference, presentation, and word processing software applications
Ability to work effectively as a team and independently in a high-volume work setting
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently to complete projects
A valid Wisconsin driver’s license and a working vehicle to travel and ability to obtain driver authorization through the University
Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
2 years of professional experience (Preferred)
Experience in working with adult learners (Preferred)
Experience in higher education or training and development (Preferred)
