Account Executive serving as primary business contact for client satisfaction while ensuring quality in insurance coverage. Building relationships to foster new and repeat business opportunities.
Responsibilities
Serves as client advocate and a primary point of contact for assigned accounts
Develops professional business relationships with all clients
Manages client expectations, service commitments, and anticipates needs of the client
Understands client’s deficiencies in coverage and consults with them
Analyzes personal or commercial lines accounts and makes coverage decisions
Works with larger and complex accounts to assist clients with insurance plans
Acts as field underwriter to determine coverage binding
Strategically remarkets renewals to ensure account retention
Prepares proposals for clients in a timely manner
Provides service to current and new clients regarding policy coverage
Requirements
10 years’ experience in the insurance industry required
College degree preferred
CPCU and/or Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) Designations, a plus
Strong analytical and mathematical skills
Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills
In-depth understanding of personal and/or commercial lines of coverage
In-depth knowledge and understanding of risk management and loss control
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (primarily Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
Must be computer literate with the ability to learn new software applications
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable source of transportation
