About the role
- Bid Manager coordinating complex technical proposals for Thales, a global high-tech leader in Defense & Security. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality and competitiveness.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the end-to-end coordination of responses to tenders for complex technical solutions
- Ensure the quality, competitiveness and compliance of proposals
- Lead responses to tenders (RFP, RFI, EOI) in coordination with Sales, Technical, Legal and Finance teams
- Ensure the overall quality of the bid, integrating the winning strategy defined with Sales
- Apply the Bid Management process and ensure governance of key stages (Bid Gates, meeting minutes, action tracking)
- Coordinate internal contributions and manage interactions with partners and third-party clients
- Support the negotiation phase through to handover to project teams
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Bid Management practices and to knowledge sharing
Requirements
- Engineering degree (computer science, electronics, etc.) or a business school degree
- Proven experience of at least 5 years in tender management or complex projects
- Coordination of technical, commercial and financial responses
- Cross-functional work with multi-site, multi-disciplinary teams
- Understanding of technical solutions (IT, biometrics, electronics, software)
