Business Development/Sales Representative driving market growth for Sage products in Belgium and Netherlands. Focusing on customer relationships and developing sales strategies for commercial opportunities.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate customer and patient focus, drive market growth and create new commercial opportunities for our Sage product portfolio across The Netherlands and the Flanders region of Belgium.
Start with a familiarization phase with training to learn about our product portfolio and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with the Business Unit Director and the Marketing team to analyze the marketplace and develop effective territory/account sales strategies towards the growth of our business.
Prospect new customers and understand their needs while also providing ongoing service to existing customers – fostering trust relationships, customer loyalty and sales growth.
Identify direct sales opportunities, grow key accounts and conduct negotiations with hospital professionals, purchasing departments, ICU departments, etc.
Inform and advise hospital professionals during workshops and presentations to drive compliance.
Prepare quotes in our CRM system for interested customers and be a reliable partner for our customers during order follow-up and after-sales: collaborating with internal teams to support smooth operations.
Participate in congresses, seminars and business meetings to identify potential new customers and to expand your knowledge for customer contact.
Collaborate with colleagues from other Stryker Commercial divisions towards cross-departmental opportunities.
Requirements
4+ years of professional experience, including experience in commercial fields such as business development, B2B sales, etc.
Degree or equivalent.
Excellent interpersonal communications and persuasion skills – with proficiency in Dutch and English.
Commercial and financial acumen: you are enthusiastic about (medical) technology – your resilience and desire to sell technical products with the best customer service are important elements to you.
Relationship skills: you appreciate contact with a wide variety of people and enjoy building and maintaining connections.
You also consider yourself a great team player.
You demonstrate adaptability, organizational and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
You are located either in The Netherlands or in Belgium and you have a valid driver’s license as this position involves regular customer interactions in the region.
