Responsibilities
Provide support to building engineering teams;
Assist the BIM coordinator in drafting, deploying and ensuring compliance with BIM standards;
Create and maintain template files in French;
Develop the required parametrization (families, transfer files, etc.) to meet the needs of French-speaking clients in Quebec;
Ensure synchronization of this parametrization with corporate teams outside Quebec;
Automate certain commands to improve productivity;
Provide support to Revit users and troubleshoot technical issues;
Identify and implement continuous improvement and innovation initiatives;
Design, prepare and deliver training tailored to team needs;
Ensure knowledge transfer and support skills development;
Collaborate closely with various stakeholders to achieve common objectives;
Act as a mentor to colleagues to support their professional growth;
Actively participate in the development and optimization of internal processes.
Requirements
Experience in the construction sector and an understanding of the needs of different stakeholders (architects, civil engineers, contractors, etc.);
Solid knowledge of your discipline, at an intermediate or junior level;
Strong interest in continuous improvement and innovation;
Comfortable presenting to diverse audiences and able to simplify complex concepts;
Excellent communication and collaboration skills that promote teamwork and mentoring;
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office;
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels (user support, teams, etc.);
Technical knowledge of BIM applications, PC environments, web applications, Cloud services and databases;
Deep understanding of and ability to optimize BIM workflows;
Knowledge of English is required or considered an asset to facilitate collaboration with internal teams outside Quebec and with certain clients.
