Business Development & Sales Manager for Placetel AI, responsible for driving market growth in the Netherlands. Collaborating with various teams to ensure customer success and develop market strategies.
Responsibilities
Take ownership of market development and drive early customer traction
Act as the central link between the Dutch market and our internal teams
Actively shape the go-to-market strategy and positioning while ensuring early customer success
Work in close collaboration with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing
Contribute to building and scaling our presence in an international environment
Develop and execute the market entry and growth strategy for Placetel AI in the Netherlands
Identify relevant target industries, segments and AI voice use cases
Build and maintain relationships with early adopter customers and key stakeholders
Support customer acquisition in close collaboration with Sales and Presales teams
Accompany customers through onboarding, implementation and early adoption phases
Ensure customer success during the critical early lifecycle of AI deployments
Collect and structure customer and market feedback to improve product-market fit
Contribute to product positioning, messaging and roadmap discussions
Develop local best practices, success stories and reference use cases
Support scalable go-to-market processes for the Dutch market
Requirements
Experience in market development, business development, customer success or consulting
Background in SaaS, AI or technology-driven environments is strongly preferred
Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken. Dutch is a must
German skills are a plus, not a requirement
Strong interest in AI, automation and cloud communication technologies
Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach
Ability to work independently and take ownership in an early-stage setup
Strong communication skills and customer-oriented thinking
Cultural sensitivity and solid understanding of the Dutch market
