Regional Sales Manager for RIEDEL Communications handling sales in the Australian and New Zealand markets. Focus on business development in broadcast, entertainment, and corporate sectors.
Responsibilities
You are responsible for the sales of the RIEDEL portfolio to customers in the Australian and New Zealand markets and contribute to the development of new verticals for the business.
You act as the relationship owner for your customers, supported by our team of technicians and system consultants to provide technical support, system consulting, and design.
You generate new business by managing and developing current channels, including broadcast, entertainment, venue, and corporate accounts, as well as new clients in related segments.
You execute and achieve a sales plan, including customer acquisitions, generating offers, product presentations, contract negotiations, and closing deals.
Requirements
3+ years of proven sales experience in a relevant market field, ideally broadcast or entertainment, or 3+ years of senior engineering or production operation experience in Broadcast or Entertainment
Experience in developing new markets or verticals is highly regarded, as well as experience responding to formal tender processes
Broad knowledge of video and/or audio technology
Active team player and communicator with self-confidence and results-driven mindset
Ability and willingness to travel throughout dedicated sales territories and internationally (NZ, Europe, USA), approximately 25% travel required
Secondary languages, notably German or Asian languages, are desirable but not essential
Strong consultative approach and ability to help clients navigate the future of video and communications technology.
