About the role

  • Client Accountant managing day-to-day accounting operations for diverse Ogier Global clients. Fostering relationships with auditors and clients while ensuring the integrity of financial statements.

Responsibilities

  • act as a key point of contact for external auditors across a portfolio of clients
  • develop strong working relationships with clients and internal service lines
  • review bookkeeping input
  • prepare annual financial statements and management accounts
  • manage the day to day integrity of client ledgers
  • prepare routine month end and quarter end management accounts
  • prepare audit support schedules and documentation
  • track and monitor the preparation of financial information
  • identify opportunities for process improvement and service line development
  • ensure all work is completed in line with relevant policies, procedures, and controls

Requirements

  • studying towards an accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
  • a few years’ experience
  • strong numeracy and analytical skills
  • proactive attitude
  • experience in client accounting or accounts preparation preferred
  • knowledge of Real Estate, Private Wealth, Corporate, or Debt Capital Markets accounting environments desirable but not essential
  • strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • excellent communication and time management skills
  • ability to prioritise competing demands
