Responsibilities
- The Accountant plays a key role in ensuring that all financial records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with internal and external requirements.
- This role is responsible for managing daily accounting operations, reconciliations, tax filings, and supporting audits.
- The Accountant provides essential inputs for financial reporting and planning, helping the company maintain transparency and efficiency.
- Working closely with the Senior Accountant and Financial Controller, this position also supports payroll, treasury, and cross-functional teams.
- It is ideal for someone detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to grow within a dynamic international finance environment.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in international or multi-entity environments
- Professional certifications (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS (GAAP familiarity is a plus)
- Proven experience preparing reconciliations and supporting month-end close processes
- Exposure to audit preparation and interaction with external auditors
- Experience supporting VAT or similar indirect tax compliance
- Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g. Xero, SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills
- Exposure to crypto or digital asset accounting is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail, ownership mindset, and ability to meet deadlines
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach
- University degree or equivalent
