Responsibilities
Assess risks, negotiate terms, conditions, coverage limits, and pricing with carriers.
Deliver and review new and renewal policies for accuracy with clients.
Manage an existing portfolio of business with the objective of expanding the client base.
Actively engage in developing new relationships and nurturing existing ones within the NFP network and externally.
Set up new clients in Epic, document and manage material changes in risk for both new and existing clients.
Maintain a diary (follow-up system) to ensure receipt of policies, endorsements, and other necessary information to comply with requests.
Establish and sustain strong relationships with carriers and clients through regular communication.
Contribute to the growth of the division by being a reliable, active, and trusted member of the yacht practice.
Requirements
BA/BS preferred
HS Diploma or equivalent required
Typically, more than 3 years of industry and product line experience with ideally covering a yacht-specific BOB
Experience with EPIC or similar agency management systems preferred
220-Property & Casualty Broker's License required upon hire
