About the role
- Financial Controller managing finance operations for Tribe X, a luxury brand agency. Leading a team to ensure financial excellence across Egypt and Dubai with strategic forecasting and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor two accountants managing payables, receivables, and the GL across our two entities in Egypt & Dubai.
- Oversee daily operations including payments, collections, reconciliations, & compliance.
- Maintain strong internal controls, financial policies, and SOPs.
- Drive annual budgeting and rolling forecasts across departments.
- Timely delivery of monthly management reports (P&L, BS, CF).
- Analyze variances and work with department heads to stay on budget.
- Lead group-level reporting and multi-entity consolidation.
- Build visibility into client, project, and department profitability.
- Improve cost allocation & time tracking.
- Streamline workflows to reduce manual work and improve data accuracy.
- Manage statutory filings, audits, and tax compliance in Egypt and the UAE.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5 - 8 years’ experience in finance, including 2+ years in a Controller or similar role.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge (local GAAP in Egypt & UAE).
- Excellent Excel and reporting skills.
- Hands-on, practical, resourceful, and able to think both in detail and strategically.
- Energetic, organized, and adaptable in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
