Responsibilities
Leading a comprehensive capability assessment across Marketing and Sales and translating this into clear, actionable roadmaps
Designing and delivering flagship capability programmes such as Marketing Academy, Sales / Commercial Academy and other functional academies, working with internal L&D and external partners
Driving ongoing Marketing capability initiatives (e.g. bite-size learning programmes), bringing best-in-class external thinking into the business
Building strong, collaborative relationships across the Commercial community and wider organisation
Playing an active role in wider company priorities, including simplification, process improvement and agency capability
Regularly updating Marketing & Sales SLTs, with occasional input into ELT and senior leadership forums
Requirements
An experienced leader with a strong understanding of how complex, commercial organisations operate
Proven ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders, confidently presenting ideas and recommendations
A genuine passion for capability building, learning and organisational development
Strong communication skills and experience managing agencies and external partners
Highly organised, delivery-focused and comfortable operating with autonomy
Collaborative by nature, with a track record of working cross-functionally and bringing people on the journey
Numerate, data-literate and confident translating insight into action
