About the role

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll records, and tax reporting.
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closes.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements in compliance with Brazilian GAAP and US GAAP.
- Perform variance analysis and identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue improvement.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and municipal tax regulations, including ICMS, ISS, PIS, COFINS, IRPJ, and CSLL.
- Act as the primary point of contact for auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial policies.
- Support operational teams with financial analyses and insights to facilitate decision-making.
- Supervise and develop the Controllership team, fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in accounting within a multinational industrial environment.
- Advanced English.
- Active CRC (Brazilian professional accounting registration).
- Degree in Accounting.
- Extensive experience in accounting, tax, and treasury functions.
- Demonstrated experience in the industrial sector, with strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
- Knowledge of and experience with TOTVS and participation in system implementations.
- Deep expertise in tax and cost accounting, with a focus on addressing tax reform requirements and corporate accounting impacts on costs.
