Responsibilities
Understand customers’ needs to determine the solution that best fits them
Follow up to meet established service level agreements
Stay informed and up to date on current and prospective customers to uncover sales opportunities
Keep current on Solutions Moneris’ products, services, pricing and ongoing marketing activities, as well as competitors’ products, pricing, strengths and areas for improvement
Stay aware of industry trends to help educate merchants
Manage inbound sales calls as well as partner leads
Requirements
Post-secondary education in business, commerce, marketing or a related field
Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Experience prospecting new business, negotiating and selling in a fast-paced, demanding environment
Exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven ability to communicate effectively (written and oral) and influence others
Strong computer skills and excellent analytical ability
Good knowledge of Windows
Fluency in English and French (spoken and written)
1+ years of payments industry experience is an asset
