Assistant Manager supporting product marketing for Milani's innovative beauty products. Driving project management and cross-functional collaboration for successful product launches.
Responsibilities
Own day-to-day project management of end-to-end product launches — from concept kick-off to in-market activation — in partnership with Product Development, Creative, Sales, and Operations.
Develop and maintain product marketing documents including briefs, timelines, GTM calendars, pitch decks, and asset trackers.
Write clear, compelling creative briefs for packaging, componentry, and copy that translates product benefits into consumer language.
Lead competitive audits of product features, pricing, and claims to identify category trends and white space opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on GTM asset, ensuring content is aligned with product strategy and retail priorities.
Conduct post-launch reviews including sales performance, retailer feedback, and consumer sentiment, synthesizing findings to help inform future planning.
Act as the internal product expert, bringing category and positioning insights into cross-functional discussions and strategy.
Track progress against key launch milestones and ensure all stakeholders are informed at each stage.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field.
3+ years in product marketing, brand management, or category management — ideally in beauty, CPG, or adjacent consumer verticals.
Strong understanding of the go-to-market process, from concept to shelf.
Ability to distill competitive research and consumer insights into clear product recommendations.
Highly organized, with a demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional timelines, project briefs, and multiple workstreams.
Strong analytical skills: understanding of sales forecasting concepts and basic P&L structure is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Asana) required.
