About the role
- Carrier Operations Representative sourcing and managing carrier operations for KCH Transportation. Collaborating with trucking partners for on-time delivery in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Responsibilities
- Source and secure carrier capacity using load boards, TMS platforms, and carrier networks
- Build and maintain strong relationships with trucking companies, owner-operators, and freight carriers
- Track and trace shipments from tender through final delivery
- Communicate proactively with carriers and internal sales and account management teams
- Resolve service issues including delays, breakdowns, and delivery exceptions
- Ensure carrier compliance (insurance, safety ratings, onboarding documentation)
- Analyze carrier performance metrics to improve service levels and carrier partnerships
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required (Associate Degree preferred)
- Experience in logistics, transportation, carrier sales, dispatch, freight brokerage, or customer service preferred
- Knowledge of truckload (TL), LTL, and freight operations is a plus
