Responsibilities
Identify, qualify, and pursue new federal business opportunities aligned with company capabilities
Build and maintain a strong, actionable pipeline of opportunities
Track opportunities from identification through submission and award
Develop relationships with government customers, primes, and teaming partners
Lead early-stage capture activities including positioning, teaming, and win strategy
Coordinate with internal teams to prepare for proposal execution
Support or lead proposal efforts when required
Manage and guide team in opportunity identification and tracking
Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and provide regular updates to leadership
Ensure focus remains on opportunities with a clear path to revenue
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Business Administration, Government / Public Policy, Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field
7 to 12 years of experience in federal business development, capture, or related roles
At least 3 to 5 years directly supporting or leading opportunity or pipeline development
Experience in federal business development within government contracting
Demonstrated ability to build and manage a pipeline of opportunities
Understanding of federal procurement processes and contract vehicles
Experience working with or supporting proposal development
Ability to engage with customers and teaming partners effectively
Strong organizational and follow-through skills
Ability to operate independently and drive results
Experience within national security environments preferred.
