About the role

  • Paid Media Lead overseeing planning and optimisation of paid media campaigns for Honda automobiles in the UK. Collaborating on UK product launches and managing media budgets with an audience-first approach.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic planning, execution, governance, and optimisation of all paid media campaigns
  • Manage significant budgets and select audience-first media placements
  • Collaborate extensively across HME-UK teams and with European colleagues
  • Support the strategic consultation, planning and activation of full funnel paid media campaigns
  • Own the media placement strategy with an audience-first approach
  • Operationally own the relationship with our Media agency partner
  • Own the full briefing process for all campaigns
  • Proactively lead the response-to-brief process with the Media agency
  • Lead and prepare all media plans for internal sign-offs with senior stakeholders
  • Ensure full optimisation of media campaigns is in place
  • Track and report on media effectiveness
  • Own the paid media budget
  • Collaborate with the content team to brief content needs
  • Oversee all UK product launches from a marketing project management perspective

Requirements

  • Significant experience in paid media planning and management
  • Proven leadership in managing significant media budgets with full governance responsibility
  • Extensive cross-functional project management experience
  • Expertise in audience targeting, cross-channel paid media strategy (Display, Video, Programmatic, Social, Emerging Platforms)
  • Strong customer-centric mindset
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Data-driven approach with the ability to translate performance metrics into strategic actions
