Responsibilities
We are looking for a French-speaking medical advisor to conduct medical examinations of statutory employees on long-term absence in Brussels and Namur.
You carry out assessment examinations and determine the employee’s work incapacity based on the medical file (diagnosis, medical reports, medical history), the medical examination (medical history and clinical exam), and, when appropriate, in consultation with the treating physician.
You support the employee in their return-to-work process.
You inform and advise clients and stakeholders to propose solutions tailored to their requests.
You actively update your knowledge in the areas of sickness or private accident-related absence, medical incapacity, and reintegration to optimize the quality of your work and ensure consistent application of regulations.
Requirements
You hold a medical degree permitting practice in Belgium and possess an INAMI number.
A certificate in insurance medicine and medical expertise, or willingness to obtain one, is an asset.
