About the role

Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for IT and software projects (frontend, backend, hardware) across all phases — from initiation and planning to go-live
- Lead and coordinate interdisciplinary project teams (development, business stakeholders, external partners, management)
- Manage schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and dependencies
- Active stakeholder and expectation management at both customer and management levels
- Ensure transparent communication, structured reporting, and thorough project documentation
- Drive the development of project management standards, governance models, and decision-making processes
- Confidently navigate between agile, traditional (waterfall), and hybrid project approaches
Requirements
- Several years of experience as an IT project lead, IT project manager, or in project-based product development with responsibility for complex software projects
- Good understanding of software development processes, architecture fundamentals, and technical risks
- Solid knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, and hybrid project management
- Ideally experience in e‑commerce, retail, or platform environments
- Hands-on mentality, decisiveness, and strong sense of ownership
- Strong communication, organization, and facilitation skills
- Structured, solution-oriented, and independent working style
- Willingness to work on-site with teams 1–3 days per week
- Very good German and English language skills
