About the role

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closings.
- Prepare and review financial statements and accounting reports.
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP, etc.).
- Perform account analyses and reconciliations.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
- Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP).
- Experience with ERP systems (Protheus).
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software.
- Analytical ability and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
