Responsibilities
Own full product line profit and loss accountability; develop and execute business plans that optimize growth, profitability, and portfolio health across BOP and CT lines.
Leverage data and analytical insights to identify trends, diagnose performance drivers, and drive data-informed product strategy and underwriting actions.
Lead, motivate, and influence a cross-functional team to achieve business objectives, including direct reports and key partners across underwriting, sales, claims, IT, and marketing.
Define and execute end-to-end product strategy, including product development, pricing, underwriting guidelines, portfolio management, and go-to-market execution.
Drive disciplined portfolio management, including mix optimization, expense management (e.g., commissions), and catastrophe risk mitigation.
Partner with Sales & Marketing and underwriting to influence agency behavior, driving adoption of new technologies, products, and best practices in the distribution and servicing of Commercial Lines offerings.
Ensure full regulatory compliance for BOP and CT products, leading rate, rule, and form filings in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Lead competitive intelligence efforts, translating market trends and competitor actions into actionable insights that inform product and pricing strategy.
Own product communication strategy, delivering clear, compelling messaging to internal stakeholders and agency partners to drive understanding, alignment, and adoption.
